This day is built around combining a real Andes hike with high mountain scenery in the Aconcagua Valley. The first stop is Paidahuén Park at Viña San Esteban, where a guided hike leads to a viewpoint overlooking the Aconcagua River and surrounding valley landscapes. From there, the route climbs deeper into the Andes through the Los Caracoles switchbacks toward Portillo, with lunch typically at Hotel Portillo and time to walk along the shoreline of Laguna del Inca before heading back down through the valley.
